2016/2017 review & 2017/2018 preview …

2016/2017 review & 2017/2018 preview
The first team have completed their fixtures and are looking likely to finish 5th after a very competitive season in which they only finished 1 point worse off than the season before in which they finished 3rd.
The reserves enjoyed their highest ever points total in the division and will finish 7th. A great return from the new management team in what was their debut season in the role and should be very proud at the achievement.

2017/2018 PREVIEW
Stacey Lawrence will enter his fourth year as first team manager with Tim Hayes stepping up to the role as assistant manager.
We are delighted to announce Harley Durrant will remain as club captain in which will see him complete 100 games as Greens skipper.
The season should also see three other players become centurions during the coming season as Allin, Barnett and Woodcock also look to reach the 100 club in first team appearances.

We are also delighted to announce Ben Morgan and Chris Bray will continue as reserve team joint managers for the new season and will look to improve even more on last seasons great points total.

Behind the scenes our superb volunteers have said they will continue in their roles which is of HUGE importance. We all know that without these people giving up their time for free the club simply couldn’t exist. Thanks to all you guys for all your continued help.

Back on the pitch and we are excited to confirm that the club will be applying to enter a team into this seasons Veterans league. It’s a first for the club and for the first time ever we now have teams running right through from under 9’s right upto veterans including the first time we enter a team into the u17’s league which is superb news.
Nick Apps will be managing the u’17 team and Nick Barnes will be in charge of the veterans.

If anybody would be interested in joining the club for the new season in any team or to help behind the scenes, please do not hesitate to contact us.
