East Harling 3-0 Wells Town
The first team entertained the Seasiders on Saturday looking to complete a first league double over the visitors for many years.
The visitors made a quick start and a mazy run by one of the divisions leading scorers saw him evade challenges from Holland and Durrant before being bought down in the area by an outstretched leg of Laws for an early penalty.
The penalty was taken and Woodcock guessed the right way to save the spot kick.
The save kick started the hosts and they began to threaten themselves when a Durrant saw his goal bound effort well blocked from 2 yards after a scramble in the box before Scent stung the fingertips of the away keeper from a 25 yard free kick.
Bareham then bought a smart stop from the visiting keeper after controlling superbly from a pin point Morris pass.
The greens opener then came after a throw in saw a hand raised in the box and a penalty awarded to the hosts.
Bareham stepped up to send the keeper the wrong way and notch his 11th of the season.
The away keeper was then called back into action as he saved well from 10 yards to deny Johnson after a good run from Senior.
The half time whistle was blown and the hosts only had missed chances to regret in an otherwise comfortable first period.
The second half got underway and the greens were on the front foot straight away.
Tarft saw an effort blazed wide before a superb intervention denied Bareham grabbing a second of the game.
Tarft was beginning to take the game to the visitors and after a good run his shot was well blocked but Johnson was on hand to pounce and slam home from 6 yards to double the home sides advantage.
The goal looked to dampen the visitors hopes of any comeback and the home side continued to move the ball around well and attack at will.
Turner-Saint then replaced Johnson and got straight to work, a neat one two with Morris saw the young winger beat his man and cross but his cross was well held by the away number 1.
The third goal came shortly after and what a goal it was. A superb team passing move started by a Laws cruyff turn saw the hosts pass the ball all the way up the pitch and ended with Tarft playing a classy one two with Senior only to then have the confidence and ability to chip the keeper from 20 yards.
Johnson then came back on to replace Bareham in the home attack.
The final ten minutes saw the home side camped in the visitors half but no more goals were to come as the game was stopped all too often by the ref due to several frustrated challenges by the visitors.
In all a great performance by the home side as they continue to finish the season strongly and end as high up the table as possible.
