The first team entertained the second from bottom side on a blustery day at Church Road looking to continue their recent good form.
Team news saw a return to the side for club captain Harley ‘Rodders’ Durrant following suspension whilst Tarft returned from holiday.
Burgess was included in the squad with Williams unavailable.
The home side nearly got off to a perfect start when in the opening couple of minutes a precise Senior through ball found Rose in the clear and when the striker squared to Conroy in space it looked a certain goal only for covering defenders to swarm Conroy and nullify the opportunity.
Chances were to come and go as only some desperate defending and missed opportunities saw the game remain goalless.
Allin began to dominate his full back and get behind the defence on numerous occasions but the hosts were still unable to find the net.
The crucial breakthrough came when Conroy found space down the right before whipping in a cross that was headed into his own net by the away sides centre back.
The lead was nearly doubled minutes later but from another Senior pass, Rose fired over after racing clear of his marker.
The second goal came soon after the miss as Rose this time made no mistake by volleying in a Barnett cross from 10 yards.
Durrant then climbed high to head against a post before Rose then struck the post for the second time of the game.
Completely against the run of play the away side were back in it as a long ball into the box saw an unmarked forward head past Woodcock in the home goal.
Tarft then fired over a free kick before a flowing move saw Conroy denied by some very brave goalkeeping.
The second half was much the same with the home side camped in the away half.
The third goal went the way of Conroy as his long range strike was unfortunately fumbled into the net and through the keepers legs.
Conroy was then replaced by Johnson.
A Tarft corner then found the head of Durrant for the fourth before Barnett took advantage of a spilled shot to slot home the 5th.
The woodwork was then rattled twice more as a mazy Senior run and shot cannoned back and a galloping Bareham run came back off the bar.
Durrant then notched his 3rd of the season after some surprisingly quick feet before the goal of the game with Allin bending home a beautiful effort from 25 yards.
It was to be a mixed day for the full back who then saw a straight red card for dissent leaving the home side down to 10.
Burgess replaced Senior and Verrell replaced Hutt.
Verrell thumped over from long range and Rose saw an effort well blocked by a centre back.
A superb team performance which on another day would have seen the scoreline well into double figures as we move into a big local derby next week.
