The first team exited the Norfolk Junior Cup at round 4 in a competitive game with their division 2 counterparts.
In a non eventful start, the game was 18 minutes old when Rose saw a curled effort on goal easily held by the home keeper.
The home side were starting to get on the front foot and begun to hit some pretty hard tackles, some which somehow went unpunished by the referee.
Soon after, the home side were in front. A deep free kick was headed against the woodwork but bundled over at the second attempt.
Tarft saw a powerful effort well blocked before Rose and then Conroy were denied in a goal mouth scramble involving players from both teams.
The second half started slightly better for the away side as Senior and Conroy combined to lay in Rose but the striker was well denied by the home sides keeper.
The hope didn’t last long however as a hopeful long pass found the in rushing striker that managed to nip in just before Goodwin could clear to slot home the second goal for the hosts.
The remainder of the game was filled with reckless Fouls and constant injuries to the home side as they looked to stop any flow in the away sides attack.
One final chance for the visitors saw Durrant head against the woodwork and cleared off the line but there was to be no consolation.
So only the league to concentrate on now and with massive games coming up, improvement is needed to retain that position at the top of the table.
