Harling had majority of possession but were unable to work the opposition keeper. 5 minutes from half time Waveney got a corner and a mix up in the 6 yard area gifted the home side with a tap in, half time 1-1. Second half was an evenly matched affair with both teams going for it but neither keeper really being tested but It was Waveney who took the lead 10 minutes into 2nd half when Harling conceded a soft free kick near the touch line ,somehow the resulting kick managed to squeeze under the Harling keeper who was under pressure from the oncoming striker. Harling kept their heads up and kept on battling and they were rewarded for their hard work when a great cross by Hobley found Bellingham at far post who headed it goal bound only for a defender to half clear it to Dunkinson who was on hand to smash it home from 12 yards into bottom corner, 2-2. The game then heated up with many tasty challenges going in but it was the Waveney striker who overstepped the mark when he two footed the pacey Stone from behind, resulting in a straight red and left them hanging on for the last 15 minutes.Harling continued to push but just couldn’t find that winning goal. Final score 2-2. Superb effort by all lads ,credit to the club. Effort ,attitude and commitment first class.
